Easter Sunday: New Street Baptist Church-12/04/2020

We’re really excited to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with you this morning. Jesus is not dead, he is alive! This wonderful news means that Jesus can be encountered and known today. Join with us as we explore why early Christians claimed these claims were true and rational.

Reading: 1 Corinthians 15:55–58

55 “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”
56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

Easter Means Hope: Watch this short clip on the hope in our world today

Prayer: Worship God using your own words. Give him thanks for the hope
we have because of Jesus.

Sermon for this Sunday

Follow this link for today’s sermon from Pastor Richard Williams: The Resurrection; True and Rational

Response: Please take the time after you have worked through the service to use WhatsApp to fellowship with one another like you would over tea and coffee at church. Perhaps there is an encouragement, a verse or a prayer you want to share with others that has helped you this week. Let us know how you are doing.

Take care and we look forward to being with you next week
