Good morning and welcome to Church at Home. Today’s Service is bought to you by Pastor Richard Williams with Anna leading worship.

Today is Harvest but as things are different due to C-19 we’re not accepting any food at the Church this year, rather we would like to encourage you to put any Harvest food donations into your local supermarket or ask someone you know to help you do this.

Lord we thank you that you continue to provide for us.
We thank you for time and seasons.
Amen.

Genesis 8:22
While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.

I work with farmers who harvest these (onions). At work we talk about harvest, and whether its been good or bad this year and how it will effect the year ahead

The verse reminds us that with harvest there will always be food for us. That there will always be a cycle of life that will continue. That time and seasons will go on. That God will meet all our needs. Some verses in Lamentations also picks up on this…

Lamentations 3:22–24
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”
